Thailand NBTC Certification
Thailand's NBTC is the abbreviation of " Committee of National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Bureau ". It belongs to a typical government management department and has administrative powers. Similar to China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, it is also the competent authority for telecommunications products and telecommunications networks. From July 1, 2008, for telecommunications equipment and telecommunications terminal equipment, the existing mandatory specifications for mobile communication products will be expanded to wireless related products. Generally speaking, wireless products such as mobile phones exported to Thailand need to obtain Thai NBTC certification before they can be sold in the local market .
India WPC Type Approval
Products with radio and/or wireless functionalities which are imported or manufactured and marketed in India must have an equipment type approval (ETA) certificate from the Wireless Planning and Coordination (WPC) wing of the Ministry of Communications of the government of India.
India BIS Certification
BIS is the National Standard Body of India established under the BIS Act 2016 for the harmonious development of the activities of standardization, marking and quality certification of goods and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.BIS has been providing traceable and tangible benefits to the national economy in a number of ways – providing safe reliable quality goods; minimizing health hazards to consumers; promoting exports and imports substitute; control over proliferation of varieties etc. through standardization, certification and testing.
Korea KC certification
Electrical and electronic products entering South Korea are subject to KC Certification, a mandatory certification scheme which ensures that only products certified by accepted certification bodies can enter the Korean market.
Singapore IMDA Approval
Telecommunications and radio frequency transmitter products that make use of the radio spectrum or connect to the public network that are intended to be marketed in Singapore are subject to a mandatory approval process issued by the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA).
Japan MIC Certification
MIC is a mandatory certification for wireless products in Japan, similar to SRRC in China. It follows the Japanese radio law. The specific test specification is in accordance with MIC (ministry of general affairs of Japan) Notice No.88, and the update and maintenance of the test specification is also performed by MIC.
Japan PSE Certification
PSE certification is a Japanese product safety mark. Japan’s DENTORL Law (Electrical Device and Material Control Law) stipulates that 498 products must pass safety certification to enter the Japanese market.
Malaysia SIRIM Type Approval
Malaysia Radio Type Approval (MCMA), CoA and SIRIM-ST Certification . The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) is a regulatory body in charge of the regulation of the communications and multimedia industry of Malaysia. The Electrical Supply Act 1990 and Electrical Regulation 1994 require manufacturers to apply for Certificate of Approval (COA) and affix the product with the SIRIM Label or certification mark.
Philippines NTC Radio Type Approval
Philippines Radio Type Approval (NTC) for Telecom and IT products. The National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) is the agency responsible for supervision and regulation of all telecommunications services in the Philippines.
Indonesia SDPPI Certification
SDPPI is the certification management department of Indonesia. All communication products need the SDPPI certification before entering Indonesia. The Directorate General of Post and Telecommunication (DGPT) has been prohibiting non Indonesia companies from being type-approved certificate holders compulsory since June 2009.
Pakistan PTA Approval
The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has approved the Type Approval Technical Standards Regulations, 2021 and we are expecting the final regulation to be issued shortly.
Thai TISI Approval
TISI is the abbreviation of the Thai Industrial Standards Institute. TISI is a department under the Thai Ministry of Industry responsible for the formulation of standards and international standards that meet domestic needs, as well as monitoring of products and conformity assessment procedures to ensure that standards and approvals are met. TISI is not only the competent government agency in Thailand for compulsory certification, but also the standard establishment and management agency, certification agency, and also the laboratory accreditation, personnel training and registration agency.
