Testing Introduction

CEC certification is the Appliance Efficiency Regulation implemented by the California Energy Commission on December 30, 2005. The purpose of the implementation of this regulation is to save energy, improve the efficiency of electricity products, and reduce the greenhouse effect and gas emissions.

Since July 1, 2006, all external power supplies (AC/AC, AC/DC adaptor) exported to California in the United States must meet the California energy efficiency regulations promulgated by the California Energy Commission.
